3 more indicted in connection to robbery, deaths of east Columbus internet café employees

COLUMBUS, Ohio July 22 2019— Three more people have been indicted in connection to the robbery and deaths of two internet café employees in Columbus.
An armed security guard, 38-year-old Joseph M. Arrington, and employee, 52-year-old Karen R. Arrington, were shot and pronounced dead at the scene at Players Paradise located in the 3400 block of East Broad Street just after 4 a.m. on Jan. 20.
On Friday, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced 24-year-old Chris A. King, 24-year-old Justice B, Stringer, and 51-year-old Brisco Dawkins were indicted by a federal grand jury.
Dezhan Townsend, 20, and Desjuan Harris, 24 were indicted earlier this month.
According to court documents, three suspects robbed the café.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office said one person sat at a game as if he was playing it and others positioned themselves near the office door.
When Karen Arrington tried to enter the office, the suspects confronted Joseph Arrington, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Townsend, Stiner and King are charged with two counts of murder.
Townsend, Harris, Stringer and Dawkins are also facing a charge of brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence.
All of the suspects are charged with robbery.
Townsend and Harris were arrested on July 3 while Dawkins and Stringer were arrested on July 19.
King has not been arrested.
